Foods that are labeled as migraine triggers can also be tricky. You don’t have any idea until your migraine starts to recur.
Migraine can be experienced by all ages. Even your status in life doesn’t prevent you from suffering one. It usually starts in the forehead and radiates around the temple. It is typically unilateral or one-sided. Migraine triggers varies for each person. It does not follow that if a certain food causes your headache, it also causes head pains to others. The majority of foods that trigger migraine are based on claims and reports in origin. These can be proven by migraineurs as they have experienced it themselves. Episodes of headaches are confirmed after eating foods that trigger headaches. As said earlier, this has no medical validation yet but anecdotal is thought as strong evidence.
Food triggers can lead to migraine either by being exposed at once or a result of frequency in intakes of such foods. When it is piled up, then it results to headache thereafter. One of the famous migraine triggering food is those containing caffeine.

A day without coffee would stimulate headaches as its symptoms.

Often times, this factor is taken for granted especially if you don’t have any idea about tyramine as a migraine contributor There is really no need to worry if dairy products are included in your daily meals, as long as intakes is in control it definitely wouldn’t cause any harm.
Most foods these days are instantaneous. From noodles to processed meats -everything comes in easy preparations. Although this is an advantage to many, it still has bad effects to your health. Processed meats are rich in nitrates, a major activator for headache. You must bear in mind that eating processed goods should not be continuous.
Spices and additives found in every kitchen can also be the cause of your headaches. Almost all spices have strong and pungent odors galling the sense of smell that is why it often results to migraine every after cooking.
Salad dressing completes the entire salad preparation. It’s the one responsible in giving an exceptional and distinctive taste to different mixed greens. Salad dressing is also included in the foods that trigger headaches. This can be due to the combination of different condiments, resulting to a strong effect in the body that yielded migraines.
Figuring out foods that trigger headache is the initial step for you to overcome migraine. Making a list of all possible triggering factors can aid in identifying foods that greatly affect your body. Common cold is a viral infection caused by rhinoviruses. Rhinoviruses are more than 200 different types and every year mutation of the viral genome produces new viruses so it is very difficult to prepare vaccination to protect against all types of flu viruses.
Among years Common cold was challenge for physicians to treat. And until now there is no definite treatment as there isn’t any drug that could protect or fight against all types of flu viruses.
Recently Vitamin C role in preventing and treating common cold was diminished. The recent studies showed that Vitamin C doesn’t protect against the flu and doesn’t even shorten the duration of cold. Vitamin C confirmed role is to boost the immune system.
So there is neither definite treatment nor vaccination. That’s really sucks, looking to the statistics that indicate the annual incidence of flu is 2 to 4 times per year to each person. And we have nothing to do with it we just have to get through the cold treat the symptoms and wait until it gone.
Luckily it is not entirely true; we still have couple of things to help with the cold. And Garlic is the most _ proved to be_ effective natural remedy against cold.
It is not just like any other flu remedies. Garlic is named as the wonder drug, the miracle food and the most valued natural herb.
Garlic has powerful natural antibiotic, anti-viral and antiseptic effects. BBC news published a study that confirmed that supplementation of garlic every day reduce the probability of catching a cold by 50%. The study also showed that the group were taking the supplement and caught the cold was more likely to recover speeder than those who weren’t taking the supplement. That study was done In western Australia university and after then garlic considered as a major drug in treating common cold.
Garlic produce allicin when is chopped or chewed by rapid chemical reaction. Allicin is considered the main active chemical responsible for the hot taste. Allicin then react and oxidize producing several useful biochemical compounds such as alliin, ajoene, diallylsulfide, dithiin, S-allylcysteine, and enzymes, vitamin B, proteins, minerals, saponins, flavonoids, and maillard reaction products.
Raw garlic contain more beneficial than cooked garlic. And the less time garlic is cooked the more useful active compound are preserved and the more bad mouth odor unfortunally.
You can use Allicin supplement drugs to avoid the bad breath or you can use natural garlic remedies to protect against flu.
It is better to use raw garlic to preserve its values, by adding chopped garlic cloves to your hot prepared meals or to your freshly prepared salad.
Also there are great delicious garlic recipes like toasted garlic, garlic bread and Burschetta (Italian dish) .
Here is a recipe of easy garlic bread: cut the bread into 2 half, mix chopped garlic cloves with olive oil and some cheese from the refrigerator. Put the garlic mix on the bread and put them in the oven for 5 minutes.
Garlic really is a miracle food besides its antimicrobial properties garlic also proved to have a great effect on blood cholesterol level, heart diseases and cancer. It is a good nutritional habit to consume garlic each day. And whenever you feel you are catching a cold large dose of garlic will make you recover speeder and make your cold less severe.
Last week my little brother had a cold and as usual my mother brought the vitamin C bottle and began to staff my little brother with vitamin C. A lot of people do that as they believe Vitamin C could treat flu but is that a scientific fact or just an old tradition?
Vitamin C was isolated 1950 and along the past 60 years, Vitamin C was thought to have a great role in preventing and treating Common cold. Vitamin C proved to help with the respiratory infection and therefore it was prescribed frequently for common cold. But does vitamin C have a role in preventing or treating Common cold? Actually recent studies have another opinion.
Over the last 30 years many studies tried to detect the role of vitamin c in preventing common cold or reducing its duration, the overall result is vitamin C doesn’t prevent common cold and slightly reduce the illness duration only by 8% in adults and 14% in children. So, vitamin C doesn’t have a proven role neither in preventing nor treating common cold and it shouldn’t be over prescribed to treat flu.
But when it comes to people with high metabolic requirements such as soldiers and athletes supplement of vitamin C helped them in recovering faster from Common cold.
So is that means Vitamin C isn’t important or a scam? Of course not, Vitamin C is a water soluble vitamin that contains antioxidant which neutralizes free radicals and prevents early cell death which is important to guard against cancer and infections. Also vitamin C has a great importance in building healthy blood vessels, bones and muscles, Vitamin C is essential for collagen formation so it’s also important for healthiness of skin, nails, hair and eyes.
The real deal about vitamin C is its helpful role in boosting the immune system. Vitamin C proved to raise the concentration of antibodies in the blood. Mainly Immunoglobulin IgA which exist in the mucus lining of nasal and respiratory system. IgA attach the microorganism that invades the body trying to prevent its entrance to the cells. Vitamin C also increases the concentration of immunoglobulin IgM which is the antibodies responsible for the immune response against infection of a new organism for the first time.
Vitamin C deficiency are very common because it is water soluble daily washed by kidney and it is not stored in the body. So eating healthy fresh food every day is important to get the daily requirement of vitamin C. The daily requirement or Vitamin C is 90 mg in adult male and 75 mg in adult female. Supplement of vitamin C over 200 mg a day aren’t useful as they pass directly through the kidney and may be very harmful for people with kidney conditions.
Vitamin C deficiency symptoms are weakness, gum bleed, nose bleed, skin changes, eye changes and Scurvy (disease affecting people with long standing vitamin C deficiency)
It is better to get your vitamin C requirement from fresh fruits and vegetables such as citrus fruits and tomatoes rather than a medication. Vitamins at Medications are more concentrated and after usage for long time they make your intestine more dependent on them and unable to extract the vitamins from food.
The bottom line here, Vitamin C doesn’t have a proven role in preventing or treating flu as we assumed before. But it has a great role in maintaining your body sound and healthy.
